You will need to disconnect the cooker and take it out to get to the back to remove the panel to gain access to the screws.
Just replaced the fan element but oven still not heating up. Rest of the oven heating up and working as normal. 1 Answer

Fan oven stopped heating up.

We do not have any information on error code C-03 and would require full model details to check any technical documents if the oven is not heating it is likely to be the element so check that before suspecting anything else.
I have a Neff U1422N0GB/03 oven and need to replace the element. I've seen a few videos online - some say you have to remove the oven completely , others say you can do it from inside the oven only. Does anyone know which is true? Thanks! 1 Answer

Most people will usually do the element from the front, look at our video on the webpage as it should be similar.
I have just installed this new element from you and on turning on the oven the element glows red and there is a burning smell. Is this normal I.e. Will the burning smell go away after a few minutes and should it be glowing red?

There is often a burning smell on new elements as grease is burnt off the surface, this soon clears. If the element is regularly getting red it suggests there may be a fan motor problem as the air flow should cool it a little and if it overheats it can fail again.
Will this still allow connection via fitting the existing spade to one side of the pronged connector?

Chris at eSpares says...
These are two 'twin' spade connectors, Just use one from each side.
My element is a 4 spade type ,does it matter which spade the 2 wires go on as long as there is one connected to at each end of the element .not next to each other ? thanks

This element has two double connectors so must have at least one wire on each of the double connectors.
Espares recommend this 2.3kw element for my Neff B1421N2GB/05 oven, but the old element is 2.8kw. Is it really compatible? Will the oven's performance be reduced?

The oven may take a little longer to reach temperature but will regulate just as well with the lower wattage element.
The replacement element does not have a centre spade connector (for the earth) - which the removed element does. . 1 Answer
I have 2 x twin 'red' wires, 1 x 'black' wire and a twin yellow/green wire ....... the black wire and yellow/green wires came off when disconnecting the element ...... can you advise what goes where ??
-
Chris at eSpares says...
The yellow and green wire is an earth wire that is not needed as the element will be earthed through the fixing screws so insulate or remove this connector. The two red connectors go on one end of the element the black on the other.
