The replacement element does not have a centre spade connector (for the earth) - which the removed element does. .
I have 2 x twin 'red' wires, 1 x 'black' wire and a twin yellow/green wire ....... the black wire and yellow/green wires came off when disconnecting the element ...... can you advise what goes where ??

The yellow and green wire is an earth wire that is not needed as the element will be earthed through the fixing screws so insulate or remove this connector. The two red connectors go on one end of the element the black on the other.
