if the compressor is not running , and the freezer is not working , could it be the capacitor that needs replacing? 1 Answer

Switch off for 5 minutes and then listen at the back when switching on for a quiet 'click' after 3 seconds. if this re occurs twice every minute or so it is a sign of the compressor trying to start and tripping out. This would likely to require a new compressor and not usually be due to a failed capacitor.
I have a beko fridge freezer just over 2 years old and the compresser is not working would this be the relay or capacitor 1 Answer

If the compressor is hot and makes a quiet 'click' twice a minute then this is the relay trying to start a seized compressor. A new compressor will need to be replaced by a refrigeration engineer.
the fridge is freezing we have changed the thermostat and the control panel on the back .but we still have the problem can you help is purchasing a capasitor the solution

The capacitor is part of the motor circuit and will not control the temperature. It is normal for some ice to form on the fridge back wall but if you have checked that the temperature inside is below freezing it is likely to be a thermostat related fault.
