Heat Resistant Glass Sealant - 310ml Stock Number: ES914819
High performance, heat resistant silicon sealant for repairing oven glass and door fixings.
Hi, I've noticed the seal on my oven is starting to come away at the lowermost part; can I use this glue to re-attach the rubber seal to the metal of the oven? Thanks

This may be suitable to fix the seal in place but if the seal has come off it suggests you should be replacing the seal if available.

Although this can handle temperatures of up to 300 C it is not sufficient to repair any where near a working cooking ring.

Yes this would be the product i would recommend for this type of repair.

The details list Fast cure - tack free in one hour, However i would leave to set for twenty four hours to fully cure.
i have an indesit kp9508 exg and the outer glass door has come off the rubber thingy which secures the bottom as the top is secure with screws will this be good enough to fix it rather than buying a new outer door

Yes, this should be suitable for that purpose.
The inner glass door of the oven has come out. Can I use this product to fix it back in? Thanks 1 Answer

Hi,
This is specifically a Glass Sealant and although it could do the jobs you are asking about its probably best to contact the manufacturers to see what they would recommend.
Thanks.
I have a whirlpool oven. The outer door glass broke - so i replaced it with a new outer door. But as it only has 2 screws at the bottom to keep in place - i think it requires some kind of glue to "stick" it to the inner section (the old outer door was glued in some way to the inner section). Would this sealent be the tool to use for re attachment?

Hi chy, this sealant is indeed what to go for - it sticks glass to metals.
What is the Colour of the Sealant ? I need it to be white or transparent as it might appear when gluing the external glass. 1 Answer
- The sealant I used was black, but it didn't show when the door was re-assenbled. Check with E spares as they may have other colours available.
my zanussi oven door seal has come away but it's attached to the oven, not the glass doors, can this still be used? 1 Answer

Hi, you can indeed use this product; it sticks best to aluminium, ceramics and metals.
