This should be very similar to the video attached to the part.
One of my drum paddles broke off and the little hooks that held it in place snapped off. When I have replaced the paddle will it still be safe to use with the broken off bits still somewhere in the machine? 1 Answer

It is quite likely the part will flush through to the drain pump and jam it stopping it from draining. Do not leave the machine unattended until this is flushed into the filter by the pump and removed.

all of my paddles have come out of washer now in a short space of time! how can i be sure that if i buy replacements that the same wont happen again? 1 Answer
i have had my washing machine just over a year and a half, and has been fine up until 2 months ago wen the first paddle seemed 2 come loose and now they all have! its so annoying because without them i am finding the machine is making holes in my clothes. does this seem to be a big problem with this machine?

Hi sammy, it may be that you're not getting the right paddles for your machine - double check to make sure. It could also be that they're not being fitted right - they clip on so just make sure they are secure before running a wash.

Our parts do not usually have measurements because they are model specific. As long as your model number is listed for the part it will fit your appliance.
broken part has 9 holes and end is chamfered not rounded on end is this replacement ok hotpoint HVL 211

Hi Rodgood, this paddle will definitely work fine with your HVL211 washing machine.
My washing machine has been making a very bad noise when it spins and I noticed the teeth off my paddle had come off is this the reason for the bad noise?

Hi Pink There is one drum paddle per package. There is a number of reasons your washing machine is making strange noises, the drum paddle being one of them. Obviously though it is impossible to tell without actually seeing your machine so we would recommend you contact your local Indesit or dishwasher specialist before ordering your part.
