  • I can confirm the tub is glued on the WLM540 ... with super strength glue. I defy anyone to open the tub without breaking it (and how would you re-seal it anyway). In addition, if the drum wobbles but the shaft/pully doesn't, then probably one or more of the three stays on the back of the drum have broken. Either way (bearings or stays), it's not practical to repair. By NR - UK - 05 September 2018

Check your drum has a row of bolts around the rim as we think on this model the tub is glued together. This prevents the drum from being dismantled and the bearings cannot therefore be replaced.

Sorry, but we have not been provided with any dimensions from the manufacturer. The parts listed on our website are all model and serial number dependant (apart from universal parts). In order for us to locate the correct spares for your appliance we would need the model information. Without this we cannot guarantee that the part ordered will be the correct one for your appliance. The seal in the kit fits over the large bearing into the tub to create a seal to stop water getting through, if you watch this video it will show you how to fit it www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaFF2-Rl8Nc just copy and paste into your browser.

The drum on your machine is not repairable as it is welded together and cannot be parted and re sealed after bearing replacement. It is likely to be cheaper to have a fixed price repair with Repaircare than replace the drum unit Stock Number: ES871622
