Replace the fan as it is likely the bearings have failed and will cause the element to fail as well.

Ive just ordered a universal fan motor the website showed a heat shield to go with it for £6.99p so I ordered but where does it go its not shown in any of your videos?

The insulation is fitted between the motor body and the cavity wall to reduce the heat conducted to the motor.

The weight we would expect to be less than 1KG but if you are finding a part for family abroad you can arrange delivery direct by clicking on the blue (change) to set your country at the top centre of the page and add the part to your basket. Then when you go to ‘Your basket’ the correct cost including delivery (if possible) will be displayed.
You say above check dimensions etc. how do I do this?
