Bosch Classixx washing machine started making noise on spin and then stopped spinning/turning 0 Answers
We noticed this noise that was getting louder during spinning, it sounded electrical (reminded me of the humming you hear with electric cars which uses small wire brushes to get power from the track); tonight the fault from the machine got the the circuit breaker to go off, now no turning at all or spinning, machine fills/empties fine, there is some resistance when I turn the drum so I assume the belt is fine... from looking at eSpares videos it looks like this could be Carbon brushes? I hope I dont need to change the whole motor though? Just checking before ordering. I ordered parts before from the website and always satisfied, but this is my first question ... thanks in advance
My Siemens Siwamat XLi1240 washing machine won't go into the spin or rinse cycles. The electrics appear to be working. The belt is in place and tight, and I can turn the drum freely by hand. From reading other questions on your site I think it must be the carbon brushes, and have bought a pair to fit. The motor appears similar to the one in the video, but with the machine on the floor it is going to be very difficult to get it in or out. Would it cause any damage to the machine if I was to tilt it forward onto its front, so that I can pull the motor out from above?
Will this part fit my appliance?
