Hi Sylvia, always make sure that the oven is turned off at the mains before replacing the element
Creda C261ew Control knob in off position Oven is still on and when door shut, fan spins also. Turning off at mains and fuse board for period of time doesn't seem to clear the problem either

Examine the switch (ES836013) contacts for damage or burning and replace if required. If the switch is OK suspect the thermostat ES188322
Creda Cordialle oven 48243 - the grill works but the main oven will not heat up. The power light does not light up on the oven console. Is the fault likely to be the element or thermostat/control panel. Thanks. 1 Answer

Is it possible to remove the door on a indesit fiu201x built in oven to aid new heating element installation?. 1 Answer

To remove the door lift up the hinge locking catches as shown in our video: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/1/2754 Then with the door open hold either side and use your thumbs to push the hinge sprung arms as you lift the door and the bottom latch plates away from cavity and unhook the arms as you lift away.
Does this item fit Belling ven model 592WH?

To identify your element we would need your full model number. However we have over 50 'compatible' elements listed that may fit many manufacturers appliances but it is important you remove the old element and match it with one of these before ordering as each may have slight differences in fittings or sizes. To view these 'compatible' elements paste this link into your browser: http://www.espares.co.uk/search?SearchTerm=compatible+fan+oven+element

The element may be fitted using nuts from the back of the oven. Remove the back and locate where the element cones through the lining. carefully part the insulation and you may find the bolt shafts and nuts that hold the element in place.
Got the oven element out no problem but I can't get the clips to stay on the new one, they keep slipping off. Do you have to tighten them, and if so, how? 1 Answer

Chris at eSpares says...
We assume the 'clips' you refer to are the electrical connectors to the element. Remove them from the element and gently squeeze them with a pair of pliers and check they now fit tightly. If you accidentally crush them with too much force you will need to replace them. These connectors are available from Maplins or most car accessory stores.
Creda Hotpoint electric oven. Almost every time we use our oven the RCD for the cooker trips as the fan is about to start. This has happened for at least 6 months now. Element used is 2500w as above bought Dec 2010. Any asiistance on how to resolve this very welcome. thanks.
- If this has only been the case since you replaced the element are you sure that the wires have gone back in the correct place and are not touching the retaining screw or someother metal part of the cooker.
Will this part fit my appliance?
