can you tell me how the release of the detergent dispenser is triggered. A replacement dispenser purchased from you is fitted and the operating solenoid energises when main switch is operated.

The dispenser is powered from the control board. If the solenoid is continually energised when the power is turned on the control board is likely to be faulty and require replacing.
