I removed the valve checked both coils which are ok but what make the solenoid open where is supply from ?

    If you have metered the valves have a typical resistance of around 4000 ohms, check wiring from the board before suspecting the board is not supplying power.

    Inlet valves will have a typical resistance of around 4000 ohms but any reading between 2000 and 6000 is likely to confirm the coil is OK.

hi - looking for the valves for indesit WIXXL146uk - can find it with the dispenser - but can you supply just the valve unit - seems a waste of material to get the whole dispenser - thkx

When cold water is being taken in, at each pause of intake I get a loud judder vibration noise which resounds round the house. Very deceiving makes pipes shake is this cold water valve solenoid causing the problem ?

I am trying to replace a blown valve from a Hotpoint WT960P. The part that seems to be listed for this model on various websites is incorrect as it has the water inlet in the wrong place. This part (41707P) seems identical apart from the electrical connections being in different places. Do you think it would work as a replacement? Thanks.
