To check if the seal is preventing it locking remove the front edge from the front panel and select a spin cycle. This will prove if the seal was causing the problem. Remember to refit the front edge before allowing the machine to fill with water as this would cause leaking.
Hi, I have also checked the model numbers for this seal but can only see WMA76 N - P and S. My washing machine does not have a letter on the end of the model number!!! Thanks.

The suffix letter refers to the cabinet colour and the seal is suitable for the N P or S variants.
There are no other letters after the FEW12 as your guide suggests. Please confirm the type I require

Hi Kellyhhh, the seal for your washing machine can be found here: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/washing-machines/hotpoint/p/1085/808/0/0/187254/rubber-washing-machine-do.html
This machine is approximately 25 years old and apart from a leaking door seal, the rubber has split, it runs as good as new.

Hi Fang, the seal for your 9540 can be found here: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/washing-machines/indesit/p/1085/805/0/0/489892/door-gasket.html
Also is this part for the main door area of the body of the washing machine, not the glass bowl actual door?

Hi and thanks for your question. The door seal you need for a Hotpoint WF530 is this one: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/washing-machines/hotpoint/p/1085/808/0/0/865138/washing-machine-door-seal.html. This is the seal that sits in the main aperture of the washing machine. The door closes onto this seal.
machine is Hotpoint aquarius WML520P(uk).R
Will this part fit my appliance?
