I want to fit an anti-squirrel climbing dome to it that slides onto the hole. If the pole comes in 2 pieces this would be easy to fit. If not it will be impossible.

    It appears to be one pole, the only construction would be the fitting the dish and feeder tray.

    This is a metal construction so should be resistant to general weathering.

From the illustration the station looks quite short. Is it complete? Or is it designed to be attached to an existing pole?

    The total height is 190cm (approximately 6 feet) but you may have to push 10 cm or so into the ground to fix the item upright.
