This item will affect all animals within a range of 15 metres if the repeller is put beyond that your chickens should be safe and will still deter any other unwanted pests.

This product is designed to repel animals without harm, but it will deter your friendly hedgehog from possibly coming into your garden.

Can it be set to operate on either a self timer or does it have a dusk till dawn sensor on battery power? Thx 1 Answer

It has a 12 month warranty but is unlikely to detter effectively through a hedge.
My garden backs onto an open field and moles keep putting mole hills in my lovely lawn!!! I have tried scent repellents with some success but they don't appear to be 100% successful.

Moles can be deterred by ultrasonics.
