If you extend the supply hose not the high pressure hose not only will it be cheaper you will not loose any significant pressure assuming you are not extending more than 50 metres.

The extras over the basic K2 pressure washer are the T-50 Patio Cleaner, extension lance, Dirtblaster lance, and one detergent pouch.
I have an outside tap with a hose which will plug into the pressure washer - so where does the detergent go if i'm using say the patio cleaning tool ?

You can download your manual from here: http://www.espares.co.uk/usermanuals/search?SearchPhrase=karcher+k2 Hook the pouch onto the side and fit the detergent pick up tube into the bag. Your machine only dispenses when running in low pressure mode without a lance or patio cleaner attachment.
The nozzle on my Karcher lance refuses to stay locked in the high pressure position (after several years use). Can the nozzle be taken apart for cleaning (I'm assuming that dirt is preventing the locking), or will I be forced into buying a replacement lance? Many thanks, Basil Strickland

We do not have information on this but if at this time the lance is non useable you have nothing to loose if it gets damaged and needs to be replaced.
Do you need to plug the inlet hose directly onto a tap or can it dangle inside a bucket of water? I ask because the tap I could use is quite a distance from where I would at least sometimes use the Karcher and I dont want to buy Karcher extension hoses. 1 Answer

Once primed most Karcher washers will happily work of a water but or pond provided the water is filtered or clean.

It is likely you have a split or crack in the high pressure areas. Disconnect the power and remove the covers and reconnect to a water supply only to identify what part is leaking.
