Universal spare part for anologue AV inputs to a Samsung LCD television
I have just purchased a new Loewe ID Connect LED TV but I want to continue using some of my older SCART equipment. The Loewe TV does not have a SCART socket but does have a mini SCART socket which Loewe produce a cable for. Their cable looks identical to the one in your photo as far as I can see although there is no close up of the actual socket fitting. Will your Samsung version be compatible with my Loewe TV socket. Loewe refer to there socket as an AV mini SCART Socket and the cable they produce for it, they refer to as a Loewe Scart adapter Art No. 71480.080 Mini-Scart / 25cm / Scart. I have only been able to find the genuine Loewe cable for sale in Germany, so it wont be easy to get hold of, hence my question, will your cable work in my new TV. Many Thanks
- I ordered this from espares, tried it with my Loewe Xelos TV. It fit in the socket ok(ish) but it didn't work. Still looking for a suitable lead at a sensible price.

If you are connecting to an AV connector not an HDMI then we think this is now becoming a common size used by Samsung, Panasonic and now it appears Lowe. If suitable please leave a review to confirm if not return subject to our conditions.

We do not think this is suitable as it is not a HDMI cable so will not work on your TV
Have an old Sky box and trying to use it with a relatively new Samsung TV.

We believe this item is intended to connect a scart video signal to the TV, this is a short adapter to fit a longer scart lead.

This adaptor looks right but the cable looks too short to reach from sky box to back of tv. How long is the cable please.

This will add a Scart socket to some Samsung televisions, You can then extend with a normal Scart lead.
Can I plug a normal scart cable into the end of this cable then use the mini scart end in my Samsung TV which has no normal Scart ports, but appears to have a mini Scart (EXT - RGB). 1 Answer
Trying to connect a SEGA MEGADRIVE with a scart / yellow video&awhile audio cables, to a new Samsung TV which has no scart ports! It has HDMI ports and what looks like a mini scart and the audio&evidence cables arent working when plugged directly into the TV

If the AV connector is the same type and it is NOT an HDMI connector.
I have a TV which only has HDMI outputs points and I want to use my old sky box which has a scart output point. Can the above adaptor be used for this? Thanks 1 Answer
Scart needs to come from the Sky box up into a TV that has HDMI.
