Product Q&A

Ask a Question

Hello, My mashine starts to dry, does it for about 20-30 mins and then stops with an error f13. I have checked - the thermister looks like the one in your video (the new one, not the old one). Bought this mashine 2 years ago. Can the thermister itself be broken? Or the problem is more serious than I expected? Thank you!

The thermistor is known to go 'out of range' causing this problem. Replacing should resolve the problem.

Answer this question

My hotpoint washers goes through wash cycle absolutely fine. However when I try to use the tumble dryer it goes for about 5 minutes and then can smell a burning smell followed by it filling with water and error F13. Is this likely the thermostat as in the video? The water coming in is clean water as if I turn the water off it does not fill Up.

Hi Michael F13 F-14 and F-15 are related to washer dryer problems specifically. F13 is high temperature rise in drying, check for blocked airflow or a jammed or faulty fan motor,
