Dishwasher Microswitch Stock Number: ES143665
Genuine Bosch spare part for select Bosch, Neff and Siemens dishwashers
the 'start in... ' button has never worked. could it be the switch or a pcb board? now on economy 7 so would like this to work as timers don't work with pumps and motors.

We have a video to help diagnose issues with a dishwasher.
My appliance has become temperamental sometimes turning off when I close the door. Could it be the micro switch needing replaced or another component?

It is unlikely to be the microswitch but it needs to be tested with a multimeter to determine if it has failed, we have a video that will help diagnose issues www.youtube.com/watch?v=yL6A7I_rC2o&t just copy and paste into your browser.
Bosch dishwasher not taking in water when switched on could this part (Microswitch) be at falt 1 Answer
The power is there but water not coming in. It sounds like it is working on empty and after little while the lights come on advising to check the water

You will need to test the inlet valve first and determine if that has failed before suspecting the microswitch.
Do you also supply 'female' part that connects to this part and if so at what price since mine has burned and melted down. Many thanks

Stock Number: ES1688483 is a kit of 'spade' terminals suitable for replacing the original connector.
Changed the fuse, still no power to the dishwasher. The dishwasher was working fine then stopped

Hi andy, it definitely sounds as if something is shorting the whole dishwasher out. To find out which is the guilty component, test all electrical parts (element, motor, PCB etc.) with a multimeter for voltage and resistance. Best of luck!
dishwasher tripping the electic sockets when i switch it on any tips on what part may be needed

Hi mark, it's an electrical problem, so the cause will be at some point in the circuit. It could be that you simply need to replace the fuse in the plug, or could be that some wiring has come loose or become damaged. Alternatively it could be that the PCB is damaged and needs replacing. Check out this video for help removing the dishwasher's fascia plate so you can get a closer look at the PCB.
