Sorry but we have not been provided with this information from the manufacturer.
I have replaced the carbon brushes and springs but this has not cured the problem do I need anew motor or is it a problem with the control switch

I have a Kenwood KMC 560 mixer when mixer is switched on full speed. It then suddenly goes slow I then switch off and wait a few seconds switch back on and then does the same. Do I need to replace the motor or is it something else 1 Answer

The problem could be the electronics if the motor appears to rotate freely and is not burning.
Was liquidising on slow speed when the machine increased speed, slowed down again and then stopped, with a smell of burning. How can I tell if it's the motor or something to do with the control gear? 1 Answer

Your description suggests a motor pcb problem, we suggest you examine for signs of burning.

Check the motor brushes for wear.
My wife's KM400 mixer has stopped working. I have put a meter across the motor terminals and it measures open circuit. So suppect motor. But how can I tell if I need a replacement motor with or without thermal cutout & sensor? 1 Answer

If it has an additional sensor it will have more than two wires. You may not be able to identify if it has a cut out or not.

The problem is more likely to be the motor control module Stock Number: ES105729 rather than the motor itself.
