but it seems more like a thin wire cable is caught up and their is more than two/three bits of cable you can see is it still the belt or is their otherwiring/belts under the hub circle thing sorry not techinical with lawnmowers
- Sounds lyk your machine has picked up something causing causing a tangle & the belt to snap / break off which is what happened to mine.

how do I remove the top of a glidemaster 340 to access motor and drive wheel to replace the drive belt 0 Answers
I have found two screws on the orange top and one on the grey side piece but the nothing appears willing to shift even with the screws totally removed.
Will this part fit my appliance?
