Elements are usually sold singularly, as pictured on the website. There may be more than one element listed because they are of different qualities but still compatible, or the parts vary depending on your model. Please confirm the full model number of your appliance to make sure what elements are available for you, as bu62 is incomplete. • Told by customer services that the difference is just a quality issue. Bought the cheaper one and works fine. The element comes singularly, so I bought 2 and replaced both. kept the original good one as a spare By Foggy - Preston - 26 May 2010
Answer this question

Multimeter reading for both elements is 42.7. The main oven which works ok is reading 23 ohms

We believe it is likely that the thermostat is not working correctly.

Answer this question

Hi, I have a FID20 MK2 indesit double oven with combined grill. The grill can be used with only half power so left element works or on full power so both elements work. The left hand element on the top oven / Grill has cracked and now won't work what part do I need? One element or two?

Sorry but this is not clear. If you are saying one element only works on full then that element may have a faulty controller. The other element if cracked is obviously faulty.

During oven use both elements should run and produce ' black heat' where the element is powered but does not glow. if one is glowing there is likely to be a switch problem.
