- This says to me that the handle is "handed" and only intended for doors that open from left to right. Do you not think that it would be a good idea to state in the description whether any handle is Left or Right hand fitting as clearly they are not interchangeable. There seems no place on this site to request a Left side handle or a right one.

It may be possible to use on the other side but the lever would not face in the same direction ie up not down.

The part that attaches to the door has a trim cover that clips off to reveal the two fixing screws beneath.
