I have just broken my door (my fault I undid it to clean the class and did't realise the glass would drop from underneath)!! The door had some kind of padding inside it does this stuff come with the replacement door?

the glass on my oven door has just exploded and smashed into a million pieces whilst i was cooking if i order a new glass what is the likely hood of 1 Answer
this happening again and what could have caused this to happen
- There are two parts to the door, inner heatproof and outer mirror glass. One probable cause of the outer glass shattering is that the inner glass has slipped allowing heat to transfer to the outer glass. For diy re-do the inner glass door seal with heatproof sealant. For the outer glass scrape out any residual glass, remove any grease and unscrew door from the underneath to replace the glass. It is unlikely to happen again as long as the seal on the inner glass is maintained.

Hi Pulldee This door glass is black, and unfortunately we do not stock a silver version. The actual glass is mirrored though!
My cooker is second hand and the door has smashed for a second time, when we replaced the first one, there was no info that an innerseal was needed and we also had a missing washer so the handle did not go in tight enough. Please could you advise how we replace the next door. Thanks
