Ive notice after defrosting that the valve seem to close but never open back when temperature rises inside of the fridge. Cold air comes through the duct when valve is disconnected and open so fridge reaches even -3'. Can this be fault of valve? Works when closing but doesnt seem to open again? Many thanks for you help..

If the valve sticks through frost or worn gears it may cause this type of problem but without replacement you may not be able to confirm this.

my hotpoint fridgefreezer FFB6200AX is not chilling in the fridge but the freezer is working fine. i have defrosted the fridge freezer for 2 days. and checked that the fan is working properly and it is. my question is could this be the problem that the damper is not working correctly? what else could be the issue? do you have any viedos in relation to this fridge freezer?

If you have not defrosted with the door open for 48 hours it is likely that it is still iced up below the evaporator or in the duct as the air returns below the evaporator. Remove the evaporator cover to confirm this and if you have a steam cleaner you can remove and clear the ice.
