It should be possible to reuse the clamp bands when replacing a door seal.
Hi Espares, I have a wdl540 which is leaking from bottom front and the dispenser unit at the end. Would replacing the door seal resolve the issue or do I need to get any other parts? Thanks in advance and I am very pleased to have found your site. :-)

The problem is likely to be due to mould in the dispenser spray jets above the drawer. Clean with a dish brush or replace as required. See our video: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/2307/indesit-washing-machine-detergent-dispenser-problems-and-replacement-
To replace the door seal do I need any other parts apart from the door seal itself, my washer is leaking from the front inside so I suspect its the door seal. 1 Answer

Carefully examine the door seal as you should be able to find a hole in it if it is the culprit. On Hotpoint machines the cause of leaking can be from the soap drawer on the final rinse. Select a rinse cycle and watch it to see if this is the cause. If the water is leaking from the dispenser it will be due to black mould causing the spray to come over the drawer, clean the spray jets and see our video: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/3/1524/how-to-use-limescale-and-detergent-remover
I have the WD420P and I had problems with the dryer element tripping out all the time so they replaced the element with a newer version which dries quicker but also runs hotter and it has melted the seal around it. Will this seal also be uprated so that it can withstand the heat of the new version of the dryer unit. Thanks

Hi Guyhall, this will fit your WD420P, however I can't guarantee the malfunctioning element won't melt it.
