Hi, A friend has a Stoves range cooker, model no 050564166. the main oven (fan) only gets slightly warm so I am guessing its a thermostat? There are a few options on here, can you tell me which thermal cutout i need to order please? Thanks Daveysparks 3 Answers

If you watch the diagnosis video it explains if the indicator lights it usually means power is getting past the main thermostat. Use a meter to measure if the element or cut out has failed.
- Hi, are you sure its the element as the oven gets slightly warm, surely it wouldn't get warm at all if the element has blown? Which thermostat is needed for the main oven as I have found 3 on your web site? Thanks

If the indicator is lit constantly it is likely it is the element that has failed. See our diagnosis video: • http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/1/2145/how-to-diagnose-problems-with-your-oven

If the cooling fan runs continuously make sure the oven selector switch (if fitted) is in the off position. If the problem continues this part is the likely cause.
