fridge/freezer thermostat setting between 1-2. Fridge inside rear (fridge) ices up and fridge very cold. Checked door seal that's fine. Condenser coil is clean. I would appreciate any help so I can resolve my query. Thank you

If the temperature in the fridge is below 1C and it still does not 'cycle' on and off it would suggest you have a faulty thermostat.

You have not given enough information as to what is the fault and what is the appliance to enable a accurate response. If your appliance is a fridge freezer and it is defrosting in a cold place such as a garage it may not be faulty.
