Dishwasher Pump Motor
The motor in your dishwasher, otherwise known as the recirculation pump, is an integral part of the dishwasher. Its function is to recirculate the water from the spray arms that is gathered at the bottom of the appliance, to then continue the water wash cycle by sending it back through to the spray arms.

My candy dishwasher accepts the function to clean, when i close the door the washers sounds like it has started but when i open it several minutes later it doesnt seem to have pumped any water in. I have checked the water inlet and there is water there bu 1 Answer

Hi stu, it could be the inlet valve that is the problem. I'd advise first turning the dishwasher off at the wall and turning off the water supply to it. Then, get the dishwasher in to an open space so you can have a look at the back. Remove the inlet hose and from there, follow the path the water takes from the hose and in to the dishwasher to find where the fault lies.
diswasher fills and empties cycle runs as normal the problem is the water is not coming out of top or bottom spinners could this be the motor ? many thanks ,NIC cancy df 150 dishwasher

Hi Nic19656, it could be a wide variety of causes to this problem, and I couldn't tell you without seeing your washer! My advice is ask a technician to cast their eye over it.
