Check the switch for signs of blackening around the contacts. If none are found it is more likely the fault of the element.
I ordered and have fitted a new element from you but unfortunatley the oven will still not heat up. The light, grill function at both low and high settings all work. When the oven function switch is moved to position 4 the fan starts up. When the temperature thermostat switch is turned the led light comes on but the element remains cold. Do you think that maybe there is a poor contact on the Oven Function Switch? I look forward to hearing from you shortly.
- I had this exact same problem. on my Moffat. my wife blew the fan element after repalcing that everything worked except the element would not heat up it turned out the Function switch had burnt out also. take a look at that it was cheap enough to buy on Espares.

Hello BALDY, it's likely to be either the element or the thermostat. These two videos should help: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/cookers-and-hobs/a/1/1331/how-to-replace-a-thermostat-on-an-electric-ov.html & http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/cookers-and-hobs/a/1/1332/how-to-replace-a-grill-element-in-an-electric.html
