What connections do i use, as the original switch is different to the one sent as a replacement, the original switch has connections numbered 1 to 6, the new switch has two no.1, two no.2, one no.3, one no.4, Which is which? 1 Answer
The wires from the machine are coloured as Brown = terminal no.1 Blue single = terminal no.2 Black to the neon light = terminal no.3 Blue double wires = terminal no.4 Black single = terminal no.5 Black to the neon light = terminal no.6 Dishwasher is Electrolux ESI602W, can you tell me what wire goes to what terminal on the new switch please.
- hi i had the same problem just turned it round so the rows faced the same way and put them in the same order work for me hope it helps
i have read previous answer but am being dense the previous terminal is 3terminals by 2 rows and the replacement is 2 terminals by 3 rows. please can you tell me what colour wire goes where in really simple terms , i am having a real blonde momment
- I changed the connections one by one. the answer is to take the three connections on one row only and change them over to the new switch, then do the other three. You should have then three circuits of L/N but if you are in doubt best consult a Electrician.
6 connections.from washer.(blue marked 2,) (black marked 5) (,blue marked 4,) (brown(no markings) ) (two black wires to neon,)
- fit in exactly the same sequence the original is wired
