    Take the brushes off to examine and replace if they are worn to the point they are only just reaching the armature. The wear would explain the black dust.

The machine seems to go through its programme OK but the drum is not turning. The motor seems to be starting etc. & the machine has ran OK once after leaving it overnight. Could this be the bushes or the programming board ?

    Noises when rinsing and emptying or spinning are most likely to be coming from the drain pump. When empty remove the filter and check for coins or other debris catching the impeller.
