Washing Machine Drum Paddle

If you're missing a drum paddle, or if keeps popping out, then this could be an ideal replacement for you.

On some machines using this paddle, the screw holds it to the drum and it is not possible to remove the old paddle without unscrewing it from the drum. This can be accessed usually through the sump hose hole.

If the paddle has come off easily without having to remove this screw then it is likely your machine does not use it and therefore can discard the supplied screw.

We believe the drum paddle is held in by a clip on the drum and the clips on each side of the paddle, release the clip on the drum and pull the paddle towards you to release.

Paddle had sheared off and want to buy a new one a fit it but unsure how it fiots esp as there is a screw that I am unsure about as in where does it go or would I have to take the barrell off ? Or does it just click in but again what about the screw.?

  • I just clicked it in - didn't use the screw as I had already read other comments about not using it! I have used the machine many times since then and no problems. By Tracy - - 03 February 2011
