The eeprom is a memory chip that contains the wash programme information and without it the machine will not work at all. This module after replacement has to be programmed using a smart card and card reader. for more details see our video: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/1793/how-to-diagnose-washing-machine-control-and-program-problems

This module comes without an eeprom and it is neccersary to transfer this from the original module. Locate the eeprom in its socket and using a small screwdriver gently prise out from the socket noting the direction of the indicator mark on the ic. Trying not to touch the pins push back into the new board and retry the machine.
Our Indesit W143SUK is spinning at excessive spins out of control. The machine performs Ok in every other respect. Would I be right by replacing the module it would correct this problem??

Hi Orwell, check out this advice article for help: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/30/common-washing-machine-faults.html
I have purchased a Module for the above from you. I then purchased an eeprom from you for the above. I am told I still need to program the board, and can not just install it and it will work. HELP
