Tumble Dryer Thermostat Kit
If your dryer is blowing cold air then this thermostat kit could save you hundreds of pounds on a new tumble dryer. We get consistent customer feedback on how easy this tumble dryer thermostat kit is to fit so you can feel confident that this is a repair that you can do yourself.
When you order this kit you'll get 2 tumble dryer thermostats.
This kit is a spare part for select Ariston, Creda, Crusader, Electra, Hotpoint, Indesit, Jackson and Proline tumble dryers.
To prevent failure of your tumble dryer thermostats please use the following guidelines:
- The disc of the stat must not be touched.
- Do not terminate the dryer cycle early. Your dryer needs the last 10 minutes of the cool down cycle to occur in order to clear residue heat in the dryer airflow.
- Blocked airflow will cause the thermostats to fail. Make sure you're not overloading your dryer and regular clean your lint filters after every load and empty the condenser (if you have one) as recommended by the manufacturer.
- If your front duct thermostat isn't working it will cause unnecessary stress on this part causing failure.

i have Hotpoint TC71N needs new thermostats ...but no idea how to find date code ... description says IMPORTANT 64 or 65
- After phoning you I discovered that the date code is the first 2 characters of the serial number, in my case 78101179. This makes mine 78 which is later than 64/65 so the parts should be OK. The serial number is inside the drum on the left.

The thermostat with the green spot has a raised part between the two connectors that will be the same as the original.
