Main Oven Door Seal
If you are finding that heat is escaping from your oven, it sounds like you need to replace the door seal. If you have a faulty door seal, the heat will escape - which could lead to your food not being cooked correctly, or the control panel and its buttons being damaged. eSpares has this replacement door seal, that could soon be added to the door of your oven to ensure that the heat remains where it should be - inside the oven, cooking your tasty meals!

Hi, I need a new door seal for my Bosch oven, unfortunately i dont know the model number as it was in the house when i moved in.. The model is at least 6 years old and brown. I have measured the inside rubber and it appears to be 19inches by 13 inches. Will the one you have advertised fit? Please help. Many thanks Lesley.
- There will be a number possibly around the main door, maybe obscured by grime. You will be able to check it out with Espares and their excellent index of model numbers. Good luck.
- model number is on a plaque on the left side of oven where door closes

Hi Wkdwoman, I can't guarantee whether a part will fit or not without the model number. Yours should be printed somewhere on the cooker - use our guide for help finding it: http://www.espares.co.uk/findingmodelnumbers.aspx#a1
neff oven u1552no gb/01
- It does not attach to the glass door but to the carcass of the oven
- It fits to the oven side of the opening and not the door

If you look at the image carefully you will see there are small fixing hooks on each side piece close to each corner (8 fixing points in total).
I have a Neff oven & think I require a door seal. The current seal droops along the top edge when the oven gets hot & heat escapes. When it is cold it looks fine. Is this common & please could you let me know if a new seal will cure this problem? Thanks 1 Answer

Plastics and silicones soften and become less elastic when warm and will deteriorate over time. A new seal is almost certainly going to fit and cope better and improve your problem if not cure completely.
