If the compressor is cold and not running the problem is likely to be the thermostat.

Hi, the wire on the end of the thermostat fits in to a clamp called a phial clamp which is further back at the bottom of the fridge - there shouldn't be enough slack to have roll it up.

Answer this question

how does the end fix / fit under the ice box? Do fitting instructions come with the part?

Hi Bustfridge, the part doesn't come with instructions on how to fit. I would recommend you look at how the previous one was fitted and use that as a reference, with particular attention to how you remove it as well.

Hi Mike67 Without actually seeing your freezer, it is impossible to tell if there is a problem. What I would advise is talking to your local fridge specialist and they should be able to diagnose any problems for you. And that's where we come in! With thousands of fridge spares, we're bound to have the part for you.
