Re: Model AEG L16830. DK (Cornwall) noted there was no AEG video for fitting handle & difficulty removing door surround but succeeded. To check exact espares part to order can espare or DK please describe how to separate surround from door. 1 Answer
L16830 is a Washer Dryer. Door surround (within which glass is sandwiched) will not separate from door frame even though all screws were removed.

We believe that the outer door frame is also clipped into the back frame, you will need a flat blade screwdriver to carefully prise the two apart.

If the door shuts but doesn't latch check the latch peg moves correctly and is sprung into position to enable the door to lock. If the door closed previously OK then it is almost certain you made a mistake when refitting the parts.
Do you have a video on how to fit a handle for an AEG 16820. I have looked on line but can only find one for indesit 1 Answer
