Depending on your model the problem may be the dryer module or the main power module. Without replacement it may not be possible to confirm which is faulty.

Answer this question

The machine fills and empties but the drum doesn't turn at all, i.e, no wash or spin action. Have you got any suggestions?

Hi Austin, this is a strange one. If you haven't already, I'd clean the lint filter (situated at the bottom of the front of the washing machine. If there's definitely no blockages whatsoever in the hoses, then there could well be an electrical fault on the PCB, or in the wiring leading off from the PCB. Unfortunately, there's no easy way of confirming this. First off, make sure that the terminals are all securely fitted to both the PCB and all the mechanisms in the machine they lead off to. If they are all secure, try looking for visible signs of damage on the PCB, the terminals or the wire.

Answer this question
