Washing Machine Shock Absorber
The tub of your washing machine is stabilised by shock absorbers, located at the bottom of the tub. Extend the life of your washing machine, and repair it with this replacement shock absorber. It's suspended on the drum, keeping it sturdy when spinning, reducing "shock" damage on the internal workings.

Does it matter which way up this is fitted? Your video ( fitting in an LG ) shows it 'body towards drum housing' but in my AEG the originals are fitted 'body towards chassis'. 1 Answer

The 'dampers' should be fitted as the original ones and may differ on different models.
