  • Check youtube Thoroughly clean the blue filter in top of machine by removing top and then wash the cloth. This stopped pulsing on the one on YouTube. Hope this helps. By Russell Gregory - Lancashire - 25 February 2019

You will need to determine what is causing the pulsing as the motor is only one possible cause.

Answer this question

I bought this to stop pulsing. It didn't resolve that issue. I have cleaned the motor head, put new filter in, cleaned out deep inside the cones and reassembled. The motor works fine on normal mode but cuts out on max. This happened with the previous and now new motor. Could this be battery related?

Pulsing is usually caused by a restriction in airflow or a blockage within the machine. Please view our advice centre article for more information on this fault: https://www.espares.co.uk/advice/careandmaintenance/how-to-check-for-blockages-in-a-dyson-handheld-stick-vacuum
