One thermostat cycles on and off to regulate the temperature. The other permanently cuts out if the maximum temperature is reached to help prevent a fire.
I've just received the Thermostat Toc Kit and was wondering how to identify the different types of thermostat and does it matter? One has a yellow dab of paint they other grey. The other other thing I noticed was the element when tested read about 45 ohms for the orange connection and about 90 for the blue any thoughts Cheers.
