Re DC41 Animal: The brush bar rotates on start up for maybe one minute then stops and will not restart. Is this likely to be a motor fault requiring replacement motor housing assembly? 1 Answer
note: I have replaced switches in handle including re set switch, and have checked brush bar is clear of tangles/debris. The wiring/connectors on the motor appear to be sound. Thanks.

It is likely the motor is not working correctly.
Does this part come with the motor screwed into the transparent plastic upper part of the "cleaning head" or is there any assembly of the motor into the housing required? 1 Answer
When I have this part, what will I need to do to resume using my Dyson? i.e. install the brushbar etc - are all relevant screws supplied?

This is the upper housing, motor and gear box. You will need to transfer your brush rollers, sole plate and fixing screws before use.
