Hi there, our wash cycles drain fine, but the dryer cycles don't. Is a new pump likely to sort that? I would have thought a dodgy pump would have affected both. Many thanks!

Check the dryer condenser because if it is blocked it will affect the drainage only on drying mode.
My LG washing machine is making a loud grinding noise intermittently during the wash cycle (not spin). Is this likely to be a pump requiring replacement? 1 Answer
I've stripped the pump and can't find any foreign objects and have drained all of the pipes. It is draining fine and takes water in when it needs to. It doesn't make the noise when the drum is spinning, only when the drum is stationary and it appears to be taking water in or draining (not sure which).

It would be unusual to make a noise during the filling process but if the pump has become noisy during draining it will require replacing, put the machine on a drain only programme to test the pump.
there are two pumps is one for pumping the water in and the other side to pump the water out ? 1 Answer

Hi there ,I get a loud rattling noise when I first start my LGWM-1437BFD washing machine. I have looked on your site an it implies that it may be the pump. Is there a circulation pump and a drain pump or are they both the same thing. Thanks

There are two on most LG machines, we have now attached a different video to show this on an LG machine.
Noise like a vibration when in wash cycle spoke to lg customer service and he said it sounds like the drain pump the noise seems to come from the filter area of washer

This is listed as suitable for models F1281TD.ABWQEUK and F1281TD5.ALSQEUK. Check the filter first as it may have either coins or other debris causing this problem.
