noticed for other multimeters, there is a continuity symbol (the wave), but this one does not have that symbol. However in the instructions, it says it can be used for continuity test. How can i use this function on this multimeter? thank you

This multimeter has the symbol Ω on the meter which refers to continuity, this is located on the meter in the bottom left corner next to the 2000.

Yes. Any fuse will give a reading of short circuit as if you connect the probes together on the low resistance range.
I am not familiar with testers and want to know can you test whether a fridge freezer fridge thermostat is working with this (the ohms) I suppose. Thanks Paul. 1 Answer
It is a Servis fridge freezer.
