Hi, I have a Simple Value 700W Standard Microwave MM717CNF which wave guide is damaged. But i saw that after removing waveguide the internel part of microwave, the actual paint has been removed because of sparking and i can see the metal. If i clean it and re install a new one will it still work?

if you have exposed metal work it will continue to spark whether you replace the waveguide or not, you need to address the metalwork issue.
Need to know how wide and high this part is, in metric or inches will do.
