Universal Coffee Machine EcoDecalk Descaler
EcoDecalk is the new DeLonghi ecological limescale remover. Its formula is designed to be 100% eco-friendly but also more powerful against limescale deposits inside coffee machines.
The descaling liquid uses only natural and high-quality raw materials of plant origins (lactic acid) that are biodegradable and non-polluting for the environment. The packaging is made out of recycled and eco-friendly materials.
Laboratory tests prove that it is up to 3 times more effective and faster to dissolve limescale deposits if compared with traditional descalers. It's therefore ideal to restore the optimal hygienic conditions of the coffee machine.
The 500ml pack allows you to perform 4 descaling operations.

It has a safety feature so you will have to push down on the cap and twist off at the same time, similar to medicines.
I live in an area where there are no limescale deposits from the water supply. My machine is saying descale and I assume this is time-motivated. Do I need to descale? how can I remove the "descale" message? 1 Answer

Unfortunately, without the make/model number, we cannot offer guidance. We would advise you to check your product user manual. We would recommend descaling your appliance a few times a year, depending on usage to flush out any hidden impurities and scale.
