i've refered to the video provided to replace belt for a dc 14 and i do not see a spendle for the belt on the motor 1 Answer

The belt is taken off the motor spindle at 1.10 in the video, we do not have a video specific to the DC14 at this time but the video should be similar.
The broken belt measures 35cm but the details of the replacement one says the length is 30cm.

We have four belts listed for your cleaner at: http://www.espares.co.uk/search/mt1pt1567/vacuum-cleaners/belts/dyson/dc01 Only one has a measurement and they all appear suitable. It is likely your old belt has stretched over time and all new belts are 30 cm in length.
What is the length and width of the belt please?
