My oven can't regulate the temperature and it has an error code 5. According to the internet it is the main electronic board. Is the PCB the same as the main electronic control board?

Error code 5 means the relay contacts on the power electronics, this is the main power board inside.

It is normal for the element to be cycled on/off to regulate the temperature, if you suspect a problem please see our advice centre articles.
HI I HAVE A JOHN LEWIS OVEN JLBIOS603 THE OVEN HAS MANY FUNCTIONS SUCH AS FAN COOKING CONVENTIONAL OVEN, , PIZZA GRILL , PRYOLETEC CLEANING ALL FEATURES WORK APART FROM THE FAN COOKING WHICH WILL NOT HEAT UP, IF I CHANGE THE SETTING TO ANY OTHER WHICH ALSO OPERATES THE FAN IT WORKS FINE. F05 is an overheat error so the control board or thermostat is not shutting the heat off when temperature is reached. I would think if it were the thermostat the oven would not know it was overheating so would suspect the board.
