The problem may be the control that has partially failed and need replacing.

Answer this question

This is the case when using the grill or the oven. The thermostat is working as the light comes on but doesn't go off as it doesn't reach the required temperature. Is this definitely just a case of replacing the element or could there be another problem? Many thanks

If the thermostat light does not go off and the door seal is OK it suggests the element cannot produce enough heat so would require replacement. It is unusual for an element to be faulty and not produce enough heat without failing completely.

Answer this question

My grill element is working fine, but the oven element is not. Will the element shown, also do for the oven. Please let me know ASAP.

Answer this question

i notice it is fastened to the roof of the oven by two screws if these are undone does the grill just pull out from the electrical connection while the electricity is switched off

  • Once the power is off. Undo the screws in the oven roof and the screws holding the element on the rear wall of the oven. The grills electrical connections are accessed from the rear of the oven. It is a simple job to do. Also take a look at the video in the Advice Centre. It covers all you need to know to fit this grill. By Satisfied customer. - - 17 November 2010
