Dishwasher Door Locking Assembly
If you are finding that the door to your dishwasher is not securely locking, it sounds like it could be time for a new door lock. This replacement lock could soon be fitted with your dishwasher to enable you to have a safe and secure dishwasher door again.

The plug part has a plastic bridge which prevents the plug entering the socket is there a trick to fitting it?
